her God on Friday, March 02, 2007 at 8:37 a.m. on the 8th floor
--Harry Hynes Hospice Center--of the Saint Francis Hospital,
Wichita Kansas. I am blessed having been with her at the time
of her passing, but I shall miss her kindness and friendship
much more. Ode To Jeanne Life of giving and doing. Other cheek already turned. Caring and loving . . . Angel among unclean. . . . Such grace that caused past saints admit jealousy. Jeanne joined her God on visioned pearly-gated golden-road. Loved ones and purring winged kittens greeted her: To sit upon jeweled thrown with her furry friends –one soft, winged and smiling cat on each arm-- Soon Nimbus shall curl content on her lap eternally. (Nimbus is her surviving cat) ================================ 2004 was an extremely bad year. I lost 10 people close to me during the last eight months
of the year. My step-father died in April 2004 from complications of
heart failure. My mother--whom I cared for over many
years--was killied on July 27, 2004 in an automobile
accident. Several family members and close friends,
including Kay Wilson whom I worked with for ten years;
Dave Arnold, an attorney I worked with in our office; and
my dear friend and neighbor Irene Sinopoli.
On September 24, 2004 we celebrated Irene's 89th
birthday. Irene passed away in November of 2004
